Lando & Anastasi, LLP Adds to Life Sciences Team

Lando & Anastasi, LLP (L&A) is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to the firm’s Life Sciences team: Roshni Ghosh, Ph.D. as associate attorney; Cristin E. Juda, Ph.D. as a patent agent; and Christopher J. Wilson, Ph.D. as a technology specialist.

Roshni Ghosh, Ph.D. has experience working in-house and in private practice at a New York-based law firm preparing, prosecuting and managing patent portfolios in addition to performing freedom-to-operate and due diligence analysis primarily in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. During law school, she served as a judicial extern to U.S. Magistrate Judge Tonianne Bongiovanni of the District of New Jersey, and she held internships at Dey’s Pharmaceuticals, the National Institute of Immunology, and Calcutta University in India. Roshni’s doctoral thesis focused on D. melanogaster as a model organism to understand the impact of ubiquitination on the complex process of sperm individualization. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law, a Ph.D. in Developmental Genetics from St. John’s University, a Master of Science degree from University of Kalyani, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Bangalore University.

Cristin E. Juda, Ph.D. studied the synthesis and characterization of air- and moisture-sensitive heterometallic molecular clusters at Harvard University where her work led to the development of multi-wavelength anomalous X-ray diffraction procedures for the compositional analysis of heterometallic complexes. She performed research in medicinal chemistry labs at Northeastern University and the University of Dundee in Scotland, as well as in the Infectious Diseases and Computer-Aided Drug Discovery (CADD) departments at the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research. Cristin has hands-on experience and conceptual knowledge in a variety of research areas, including chemical synthesis, drug discovery, spectroscopic and imaging technologies, and targeted drug design. Prior to joining L&A, she worked as a patent agent in the Intellectual Property department for a Boston-area law firm. Cristin earned her Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Harvard University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Northeastern University.

Christopher J. Wilson, Ph.D. has extensive experience in biochemistry. His doctoral research utilizing hydrogen deuterium exchange (HDX) mass spectrometry (MS) to interrogate protein conformations and dynamics combined analytical chemistry, biochemistry, and structural biology. Specifically, he focused on the effects of disease-causing mutations of apolipoprotein A-I, the major scaffold protein of high-density lipoprotein. Prior to joining L&A, Chris worked as a technology specialist at a Boston-area Intellectual Property law firm specializing in biotechnology and life sciences. Chris earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Northeastern University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Quinnipiac University.
