Lando & Anastasi, LLP (L&A) has been named in the 2017 edition of the IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners. This year, L&A is again “recommended” for their work in transactions, prosecution and litigation. The publication noted that “Sensitive to commercial pressures, the nimble boutique has streamlined its own internal infrastructure so that it can give clients maximum face time while still containing costs. Its technical capabilities are comprehensive and it keeps a keen eye trained on burgeoning fields such as robotics.”
In addition to the firm’s recognition, two L&A attorneys – Peter C. Lando and Craig R. Smith were selected for inclusion. Peter Lando, one of the founding partners at the firm, is a well-known figure in the water industry and IAM notes that he “has been drawing on his singular knowledge of wastewater treatment to draft impregnable applications for clients.”
Craig Smith, a member of the firm’s Litigation group, “steps up to the plate; he recently leveraged his significant consumer products expertise for Bose in a matter against Freeny” In addition, Craig represents industry leading clients in intellectual property litigation throughout the country in federal district courts, appellate courts, and the International Trade Commission (ITC).
“It’s a great honor for the firm, Peter, and Craig to be recognized again this year”, notes Ann Lamport Hammitte, a member of the firm’s Management Committee. “This recognition highlights our dedication to delivering outstanding client service and shows that we continually and successfully strive to help our clients protect their IP assets through transactions, patent prosecution and litigation.“
