The District of Massachusetts has announced a Zoom presentation on September 16th at 4:00, at which Chief Judge Saylor will provide an update on the resumption of jury trials during the COVID pandemic. The session will include a question and answer period. It is my understanding from comments from other judges in the district that at least two courtrooms have been equipped with plexiglass screens and other equipment to better enable proper distancing while in the courtroom – I expect we will learn more about this.
