Dave Roccio Presents on IP to WorldUpstart MedTech and Life Science Accelerator Cohort

On September 18th, Partner David Roccio, and Chris Halliday of DLA Piper, presented to the WorldUpstart US Market Gateway Accelerator MedTech and Life Science cohort. The presentation and Q&A session focused on IP considerations, such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, and licensing, important to foreign medical device, digital health, and life science startups thinking about entering the U.S. market.

The WorldUpstart US Market Gateway Accelerator assists growing international companies as they prepare to enter the U.S. market, creating a roadmap for strategic expansion and connecting the startups to the right players, partners, and investors.

Dave also attended the WorldUpstart Accelerator Industry Day in Philadelphia on November 6th where he connected with the Fall 2023 cohort of Accelerator companies in Digital Health, Medical Devices, and Pharma who were visiting from Australia, France, Germany, Japan, and South Korea.
