Lando & Anastasi, LLP (L&A), in partnership with the Association of Corporate Counsel – Northeast Chapter, presented a workshop titled “Cybersecurity Strategic Planning” on May 10, 2017 from 7:30 – 9:30 am at the Newton Marriott.
The workshop included a panel discussion moderated by L&A partner Thomas M. Sullivan. The panel discussed solutions for dealing with cybersecurity threats, data privacy issues, and trade secret protection, as well as options for insuring against these challenges. Panelists included leading cybersecurity strategists from multinational corporations, Hugo Teufel, III – Senior Counsel for Global Privacy at Raytheon; and David Doggett – Senior Director of Cybersecurity and Network Infrastructure at Schneider Electric; and a prominent insurance underwriter in cyber, technology, and intellectual property, Gareth Tungatt – Chief Underwriting Officer and Co-Founder of Ascent Underwriting, part of the Lloyds Syndicate. L&A litigation and cybersecurity practice partner, Craig R. Smith, also participated in the panel discussion, adding his experience and perspective on related enforcement issues.
