Boston, MA – Lando & Anastasi, LLP (L&A) recently announced the election of Thomas M. Sullivan, and the re-election of Robert A. Skrivanek, Jr. for a two-year term on the firm’s Management Committee. They will join Peter C. Lando, who remains on the committee for the coming year.

“Tom, Bob, and Peter, have a terrific synergy as co-managing partners, and the firm will benefit greatly from their years of experience in a number of leadership roles at L&A, combined with their openness to fresh ideas from all corners of the firm,” commented Nicole Palmer, the firm’s Hiring Partner.

Tom Sullivan is newly elected to the Management Committee in 2022, but previously has served the firm in this capacity many times. Tom has deep technical background in all areas of electrical engineering, and he counsels businesses of all sizes on the creation and maintenance of strong and sustainable complex patent portfolios. Tom is a member of the Suffolk University Law School Dean’s Cabinet. He also is an Instructor in the Accounting and Business Law Department at the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk.

Bob Skrivanek is serving his third consecutive term on the firm’s Management Committee. In addition to this role, he also is a member of several firm committees, and is an integral member of the firm’s IT Group. Bob is a successful patent prosecutor and counselor, with in-depth experience in the development and management of significant global patent portfolios in a variety of industries.

Peter Lando has been a member of L&A’s Management Committee for many terms since the firm’s founding in 2003. Peter has a robust intellectual property law practice which involves all areas of intellectual property and related transactions. Peter is a past President of the Boston Patent Law Association and is co-chair of the Dean’s Advisory Council of the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. He has also been a member of several academic and non-profit boards.

Comprised of three Co-Managing Partners who are elected to two-year terms, the Management Committee structure at L&A differs from that of most law firms and mirrors our approach to client service: We collaborate to achieve synergies of knowledge that produce creative approaches to complex issues.
