Boston, MA – Lando & Anastasi, LLP (L&A) is pleased to announce the election of David M. Roccio to his first two-year term on the firm’s Management Committee. Robert A. Skrivanek, Jr. was re-elected this year to serve another two-year term. Dave and Bob join Peter C. Lando, who remains on the committee for the coming year.

Comprised of three Co-Managing Partners who are elected to two-year terms, the Management Committee (MC) structure at L&A differs from that of most law firms. It mirrors the firm’s approach to our client relationships, focusing on principles that prioritize business goals and collaborative problem-solving.
Dave Roccio counsels businesses of all sizes on the creation and maintenance of strong and sustainable complex patent portfolios. He has extensive experience in counseling startups—especially foreign-based startups who wish to launch their business in U.S. markets and U.S.-based startups looking to expand abroad. Dave is very active in local and national professional organizations and networking groups, and in 2022, he was nominated and selected to be a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce Commercial Service District Export Council (DEC).
Bob Skrivanek was re-elected this year to his fourth consecutive term on the firm’s MC. In addition to this role, he also is a member of several other firm committees. Bob is a successful patent practitioner with in-depth experience in hardware and software related to complex electronic systems. He provides strategic counsel on the development and management of significant global patent portfolios to clients in a variety of industries.
Peter Lando has been a member of L&A’s MC for many terms since the firm’s founding in 2003. Peter has a robust practice which involves all areas of intellectual property law and related transactions. He has served on several academic and non-profit boards and is an active thought leader in the IP community, frequently speaking to industry groups, clients, and students on a wide variety of IP-related topics.
