Lando & Anastasi, LLP Welcomes New IP Practitioners

Lando & Anastasi, LLP (L&A) is pleased to announce that Andrea B. Reed and M. Ari Behar have joined the firm.

Andrea Reed joins L&A’s litigation team as Of Counsel. She is a seasoned litigator, with more than 10 years of experience representing clients in patent infringement, trademark infringement, and other complex intellectual property litigations. Andrea’s practice includes both trial and appellate litigation, with several of her cases being affirmed by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Andrea also advises on IP agreement enforceability, breach, and risk analysis. Prior to joining L&A, Andrea practiced at an international law firm in Boston and served as in-house counsel for a publicly traded software company. She holds a J.D., and a B.S. in Plastics Engineering, worked in the bioabsorbable medical device industry before beginning her legal career, and brings significant polymer materials science and manufacturing experience to her legal practice.

M. Ari Behar joins the firm as an Associate in the Electronics and Computer Technology & Software groups. Ari has broad technical experience in computer networking, data storage, security, mobile interfaces, image and video compression, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing. Ari is experienced in all facets of patent prosecution and brings deep technical knowledge in computer-related fields to his work advising clients on a range of intellectual property issues including patentability, freedom to operate, and infringement matters. Prior to joining L&A, Ari was an associate at another Massachusetts law firm. He earned his Juris Doctor and a Certificate in Intellectual Property from Boston University School of Law, and he received an A.B. degree in Computer Science from Harvard University.
